Sandakan memorial park is one of the tourist attractions in Sandakan. it is located at Taman Rimba mile 7 Sandakan. The Memorial Park witnessed the death of Australian and British prisoners of war held by the Japanese in the Sandakan POW camp.There also are various kinds of war equipment left by Australian and British military.
